The Finish screen
The Finish screen appears at the end of your course, and is a great way for your learners to celebrate success. It's a crucial component, as it's the last opportunity for you to leave a lasting impression on your audience.
How do I configure the Finish screen?
There are several components you can customize on the finish screen. We've detailed these below.
Layout options
- Text alignment, adjust the text alignment so that it is Text right, Text left, or Text centered.
- Background color, override the theme settings and change the background color.
Display options
You can toggle the following options ON or OFF:
- Title — Change this text as you would on another screen type.
- Description — Change the text that appears in the description. You might like to summarize what the learner has gained from your course, or ask a simple question to understand audience sentiment.
- Feedback — If you do not want the feedback emojis to appear, you can switch this off in Display options.
- Pattern — This refers to the gradient overlay that appears in the background of your Finish screen. You can toggle this off if you would like it to be a solid color or image.
- Confetti — If you'd like to take celebrating learner success to the next level, you can opt to throw some confetti on the Finish screen. This is set to ON by default, but you can also toggle this experience OFF.
- Image alignment — Change the image alignment (if you opt to include one). You can also choose 'Image behind' for an image as the background. If you opt to do this, you can adjust the overlay opacity to ensure that the text remains easily readable for your learners.
The Finish screen button
The button on the Finish screen behaves differently depending on your plan.
On Flow
The button is always present, and you can't change its label, destination, or remove it. There's no button configuration in the editor on Flow.
On Pulse and Hub
The button is on by default, with a default label and the default Coassemble destination URL. You can:
- Edit the button label.
- Change the destination URL (for example, link to your website or to another course).
- Toggle the button off entirely if you don't want one.
On Embed Core, Embed Automate, and Embed Partner
The button is hidden by default. The default label is "Next" and the URL is empty until you set one. You have full control over all of it: label, URL, and whether the button shows at all.
