How to change or reset your password
Keeping your account secure is a top priority. Whether you want to update your current password for security reasons or you've been locked out of your account, follow the steps below to manage your login credentials.
Change your password from within your account
If you are already logged in and want to update your password, you can do so through your profile settings:
- Click on your profile image in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Edit profile from the dropdown menu (alternatively, you can go to Settings and then select Edit profile).
- Locate the password section on the edit page.
- Enter your Current password.
- Enter your New password, then type it again in the confirmation field to ensure it is correct.
- Click Save changes to apply your changes.
Reset a forgotten password
If you are unable to log in because you have forgotten your password, you can trigger a reset link from the login screen:
- Navigate to the Coassemble login page.
- Select I am a returning user.
- Enter your email address and click Continue.
- Click the Forgot password? link located underneath the Login button.
- Re-enter your email address when prompted.
- Click Send reset link.
Check your inbox for an email containing a secure link to create a new password. If you don't see it within a few minutes, be sure to check your spam or junk folder. Note: For security purposes, reset links expire after a certain period. If the link doesn't work, simply follow the "Forgot password" steps again to receive a new one.
Complete the password reset
Once you receive your password reset email, follow these steps:
- Click the secure link in the email to open the Reset your password page.
- Create a new password that is at least eight characters long.
- Confirm the new password by re-typing it in the confirmation field.
- Click Reset password to save your new credentials and regain access to your account.
By following these steps, you can easily reset your password—either by changing it from within your account or using a password reset link if you've forgotten it.
